Trial: Temptation from Worldliness

In the sixth sermon of the Trial: 8 Witnesses from 1&2 Peter series, Pastor Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church reminds us that Jesus must be the cornerstone of our lives. 1 Peter 2:4-12 tells us that Jesus is the only one that can keep you standing during the trials and temptations of life and that Jesus is the one who is building his people.

Trial: Temptation From Sin

In the fourth sermon of the Trial: 8 Witnesses from 1&2 Peter series, Pastor Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church asks the question “Where have you placed your hope?” 1 Peter 1:13-21 roots our hope in the grace given by Jesus, calling us to lives of obedience and bringing our faith to life in Him. We will also look at six practical areas where hope can be cultivated in resistance to the temptation to sin.
